Child of Liberty has its roots deep in the folk rock genre, drawing stylistically from such long time favorites as Michael Card, James Taylor, Susan Ashton and Jerry William's Harvest. From the driving song Stem of Jesse to the soulful Lord I Thank You to the classic worship ballad Cedar in Lebanon, Ms. Ciepluch weaves scripture and life experience into lyrical, singable expressions of love and life with the Lord. Recorded at Gaither and ZooWest Studios in Indiana, producer Steve Millikan once again hits a home run as he brings out the best in this singer/songwriter.

This song is a gift God gave me as a memorial tribute to my dear nephew Theodore Bradford(“Brad”) Dickerson (1988-2019). We created this as a free gift/download to comfort those who will be commemorating the first anniversary of his death on January 9.
Contemplative song written as a prayer to comfort in times of loss, grief and despair.
This song is the second of 'The Brad Trilogy', a series of songs written in the weeks following the tragic death of my 30 year old nephew Brad in a head on collision with an impaired driver. Our family was in the depths of despair, loss and grief. This song came

This song is the second of 'The Brad Trilogy', a series of songs written in the weeks following the tragic death of my 30 year old nephew Brad in a head on collision with an impaired driver. Our family was in the depths of despair, loss and grief. This song came to me, I believe from God, to remind us that while we cannot always fix things that come into our lives, God loves us and wants to be there in our grief to comfort and strengthen us. While I truly hope that this tragic situation has not happened to you, I also hope that if you are experiencing challenges in your life, this song can encourage you to seek out Jesus for help, answers and hope.
WHEN I CRY
When I cry out to You And this life makes no sense
I don’t have the strength left to try
When I can’t fix a thing I can’t make it better
When I cry, with me Lord, You cry.
CHORUS
When I cry Lift my eyes up to You
Holy Spirit Bring the comfort of You
Whenever hope flees Father hold me so tight
You Alone know how I feel ……….when I cry
Black shadows my heart The pain of loss starts
Comingled, grief and grace lie
In the vacuum of grief Your Love brings relief
When I cry, with me Lord, You cry.
CHORUS
When I cry Lift my eyes up to You
Holy Spirit Bring the comfort of You
Whenever hope flees Father hold me so tight
You Alone know how I feel ……….when I cry
Source of all Good
Hold my heart in Your Hand
Strengthen me Lord
Jesus, Help me to stand
CHORUS
When I cry Lift my eyes up to You
Holy Spirit Bring the comfort of You
Whenever hope flees Father hold me so tight
You Alone know how I feel ……….when I cry

This third song in The Brad Trilogy ponders how to move forward in life after tragedy while still trusting in Jesus. This third song in The Brad Trilogy ponders how to move forward in life after tragedy while still trusting in Jesus. It encourages a choice to trust in God while bad things are happening all around us. The Bible tells us that Jesus is the Name above all names, that we can call on this Name in times of hurt, desolation, trials, troubles and fear, and that Jesus the Savior is faithful to be with us and bring us hope in the darkest circumstances. It becomes our goal to trust in Jesus through everything and to know that He will strengthen and comfort us as we do.
We, as Brad’s family, miss him desperately. There is no earthly way to find justice here for his untimely death. Perhaps you can relate. However, we do trust that we will see him again in heaven because Brad knew Who Jesus is and knew to call on Him in life and death. While our boy was not allowed to finish his life here on earth, it will be a glorious reunion to see him alive and with Jesus in heaven.
May this song help you to put one foot in front of the other in hope as you walk through the trials of this life.
